Empowerment
Choicest Fruit is striving to build capacity and enable individuals to be protagonists of change in their communities. Our approach emphasizes on generation, application and diffusion of knowledge at grassroots level instead of providing solutions which have been developed somewhere else. We believe that there exists a knowledge base in every community, and so by putting into place an ongoing process of action and reflection, the community’s confidence to rise up and implement solutions will become evident.
Collaborative Consultation
We use the process of consultation to foster greater understanding and build consensus around solutions. Gathering all the constituents together in a collaborative environment makes it possible to understand a problem more thoroughly and to develop better, more robust solutions.
Products and Solutions
Once a solution is identified, a pilot test is created to be implemented and tested in the real world. The technology company and the users establish an ongoing system to measure and monitor the success of the solution in addressing the pertinent issues, as well as evaluate the long-term impacts of the solution. This is an ongoing process aimed at establishing a transparent and meaningful relationship between the tech company and the community it serves.
